COMMON IMAP EMAIL ADDRESSES
GoDaddy, Rackspace, Comcast, iCloud/Apple , AT&T/Yahoo!, Bell South (now operated by Yahoo), AOL, or Verizon, follow the instructions below to sync your email
If you are trying to sync one of the above IMAP email addresses, follow the instructions below to get started:
How to connect an IMAP email to First
Go to your Network tab and then select ‘Add Email Account’
At this point you will be redirected to a form on nylas.com to enter your email address. Nylas is the First partner that assists in connecting your account.
Enter your email.
Select "Other" when prompted to choose your email provider:
Enter your IMAP (incoming) and SMTP (outgoing) server settings. The default ports are recommended to support secure connections, but you may change them as needed to support your email provider. Where can you find this information? You can ask your email administrator, or find the information at the bottom of this article.
If you purchased your email domain from a third party provider, run an internet search to find your incoming and outgoing server and port settings. For example, if you purchased your email from GoDaddy, search for "GoDaddy IMAP settings". You can also see below for some common server settings.
Once you have connected your account, you will see a screen that says Success! Your email contacts are being processed and will appear in your First App shortly:
