The first time you log into your First app, you will be asked to sync your email address. If you select Continue, ALL contacts in your email’s address book will be synced to your account. Before we run contacts through our model, we try our best to assist you in removing duplicates, realtors and junk contacts. As you add contacts to your email’s address book, they will be imported to your First app on a weekly basis automatically.
At this time we can successfully sync contacts from the following email providers:
- Outlook Exchange
We cannot sync contacts with the following email providers:
If you need to sync an email address after logging into your First app, you can do so from the Account tab.
PRO TIP: You may have a large number of contacts in your email and prefer not to upload them all to your First account. If this is the case, we recommend exporting your email contacts to a CSV, editing that CSV of contacts to include only the contacts you want imported, and upload the CSV to your account. Do note, if you choose this option, the First app will not continuously sync with new contacts added to your email’s address book. Instead you will have to add them manually to the app.
Enabling Email Sync
If you decide to skip this step during the initial sign up process, you can always sync your email address at a later time by following the below instructions:
- Open your First App.
- Click on the Account tab icon on the Navigation bar located at the bottom of the screen.
- Scroll all the way down to the bottom of the Account tab and find the [Add Email Account] and follow the prompts. If you need additional assistance syncing an email address please contact Product Support through THESE channels.
Disconnecting Email Sync
If you would like to disable email sync for an email address tied to your First app, please contact a member of Customer Support.
